Stir well before use. Clean and degrease metal surfaces before Application. Molykote D-709 Anti- Friction Coating is formulated for application by either spray or dip coat process. Recommended film thickness is 5–15 microns. To adjust coating viscosity, the material should be diluted with methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) solvent. When diluting with any solvent, refer to the solvent vendor’s safety data sheet for information on physical and health hazards associated with the solvent and use of ventilation, PPE, bonding and grounding or other measures that can minimize or eliminate these risks.
